BOTSWANA ELEPHANT

 Botswana is home to the densest elephant population in the world. The best place to spot them is at Chobe National Park, where they come to the Chobe River Front to play, drink and swim. Botswana has the largest elephant population in the world, estimated at around 150 000. In 2021, the country lifted a total ban on hunting, introduced five years earlier to reverse the decline in elephants and other species. I was privileged enough to walk with the trio of orphaned elephants and enjoyed lunch with them on the grassy plains. This interaction will stay with me for a lifetime.

ENTE BOTSWANA പ്രകൃതി അണിയിച്ചൊരു ക്കിയ ബോട്സ്വാന. ഏതുയാത്രക്കും ഒരുതുടക്കമുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ ഭൂമി എന്നുമെന്നെ കൊതിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.അതാണ് ബോട്സ്വാനയെപ്പറ്റികൂടുതൽ അറിയാനുള്ള അതുല്യ അവസരം എനിക്ക്ലഭിച്ചത്. .പൊന്നുതമ്പുരാൻ അണിയിച്ചൊരുക്കിട്ടും മതിവരാതെ പിന്നെപ്രകൃതിയും അണിയിച്ചു സുന്ദരിയാക്കി ഈ ബോട്സ്വാനയെ, അപ്പോൾ ഈ ഉപ്പു മരുഭൂമിക്കു വേറിട്ട അഴകുണ്ടായി.. കുലമഹിമയുള്ളതും അല്ലാത്തതുമായ ഒരുപാടുകാട്ടുചെടികൾ വീടിന്റെ തിരുമുറ്റം കയ്യടക്കി.. അതാണ് ബോട്സ്വാനയെന്ന ഉപ്പുമരുഭൂമിലോകമഹാരാജ്യത്തിന് റെ തറവാടതു. ആഫ്രിക്കൻഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തിൽ ബോട്സ്വാനയെന്ന രാജ്യം ആഫ്രിക്കക്കൊരു മാതൃകയാണ്. മിക്കആളുകളും ആഫ്രിക്കയെന്നു കേട്ടാൽ പിടിച്ചുപറിയും കലഹങ്ങളുംദാരിദ്ര്യവുമു ള്ളനാടാണന്നു കരുതും. നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ഉത്ഭവ സ്ഥലമെന്നു ലോകംവെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. മഴകുറവായതിനാൽ ഹാ!എത്ര സുന്ദരിയിവൾ എത്ര മനോഹരമിവൾ എന്നു പറയാൻ പറ്റില്ലായിരുന്നു. കാരണം ബോട്സ്വാന കടൽഇല്ലാതെ ചുറ്റും ഭൂമിയാൽ...

3.MOPANI WORMS

BOTSWANA  is a land of Mopani worms. The worm is the large caterpillar of the Gonimbrasia Belina species, commonly called the emperor moth. It's called a mopane worm because it feeds on the leaves of mopane trees after it hatches in summer. It has also burrowed into literature, finding its way,  At least one of the characters munches on dried mopane worms.  Mopane worms provide a nutritious supplement to the traditional Botswana diet, as they are almost 60% protein, and contain  significant amounts of phosphorus, iron, and calcium .
